Med sin förra bok "Hundraåriga skuggor" visade Ola Lindberg att han är en av våra mest framträdande svenska haikupoeter. Som titeln angav fanns en historisk koppling, och då till haikumästare som Basho, Issa, Buson, Shiki, Hosai och Santoka. Hundraåriga skuggor
Ola Lindberg är en av de mest framträdande svenska haikupoeterna idag. Han skriver mycket komprimerat, ibland endast på två rader och alltid med små bokstäver. Hans dikter ligger därmed alltid nära den japanska haikuns ursprungsform, som normalt endast innehåller en rad. Ola Lindbergs haiku återfinns i flera nättidskrifter och han finns även representerad i haikuantologin Månen i ytterfilen (2011)
