Narnia: The Magician's Nephew Movie Tie-In Paperback

Before the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, there was a beginning.

London, long ago. Digory Kirke and his new neighbour Polly Plummer stumble into the attic study of Digory’s sinister Uncle Andrew, an amateur magician who has made a set of enchanted rings. One touch, and the children are flung out of their own world into the strange, silent Wood between the Worlds, and from there into the dying city of Charn.

There Digory makes a fateful mistake. He awakens Jadis, a cold and terrible queen who will stop at nothing to rule. She follows the children back to London, and before long they are all swept into a dark, empty place where something extraordinary is about to happen: the great lion Aslan begins to sing, and a new world called Narnia comes to life.

Full of wonder, humour and courage, The Magician’s Nephew tells how Narnia was created, how evil first entered it, and why there was a wardrobe in the first place. It is the first story in the chronological order of C.S. Lewis’s beloved The Chronicles of Narnia. This movie tie-in edition is published to coincide with the major new Netflix film adaptation.
